History
Delta Chi Lambda started out as a vision that eleven friends had to bring an organization that promoted not only positive Asian-American awareness, but emphasized exceptional leadership development at the University of Arizona. Because the college experience can be overwhelming for so many, these eleven ladies wanted to create a home away from home for their future sisters.
On October 12, 2000, the eleven founding mothers came together and began their journey. After many months of sisterhood, research, and dedication, Delta Chi Lambda was born. With the help of their advisor Wellington Chu of Lambda Phi Epsilon, the proper steps were taken to build what is now the backbone of DChiL.
Official recognition at the University of Arizona under the Panhellenic Association took place in June 2002. As the sisterhood flourished, Delta Chi Lambda saw the need for expansion, creating the National Board in May of 2009. Expansion took place at two universities: Beta Chapter at Arizona State University in 2010 and Gamma Chapter at Northern Arizona University in 2011.

sisterhood
Delta Chi Lambda provides its sisters with a lifetime of sisterhood and loyalty that will endure for years after she leaves the University. Our sisterhood comprises of a number of unique bonds shared between the different roles in our sorority, such as big sisters, process sisters (the class in which a sister endures the new member process with), and process moms. We also provide our sisters with sisterhoods, or events that give us the opportunity to bond with one another. Delta Chi Lambda's sisterhood is truly unique as we shared a bond so deep, it cannot be described by words and may only be understood through experience.
